BOUNDARY ROAD PEDESTRIAN OVERPASS
Location:Vancouver, BC, Canada Description:This elegant prestressed concrete footbridge spans between Vancouver and Burnaby. Total length: 48 m (158 ft.) Owner and Client:City of Vancouver Scope of Work:Buckland & Taylor Ltd. designed this pedestrian bridge. Speed of construction was a requirement, so the entire bridge above ground was constructed of only 5 prestressed precast concrete elements that were quickly assembled. Completed in 1981.
