LADNER CREEK BRIDGE

Ladner Creek Bridge

Description:

The Ladner Creek Bridge has four lanes and is 257 m (843 ft.) long with 6 spans. It consists of composite steel plate girders and concrete deck. The bridge is curved and superelevated and on a fairly steep grade (4%). The piers are simple circular columns with cross-heads. The road is a four-lane freeway forging through the mountain wilderness of central British Columbia. It is the second longest bridge on the highway linking the lower mainland of BC with the province's interior.
