Description:

The NanPu Bridge was, the longest span cable-stayed bridge in China when built. It was modelled on the Alex Fraser Bridge, which Buckland & Taylor Ltd. designed.

Total length: 765 m (2510 ft.)
Main span: 423 m (1388 ft.)
Tower height: 150 m (492 ft.)

Scope of Work:

Buckland & Taylor Ltd. provided design review of the bridge and provided training to one of the Chinese Senior Engineers. Completed in 1991.
