NORTH MAIN STREET CROSSING
Location:Salinas, California, USA Description:Curved overpass in Monterey County Total length: 245 m (802 ft.) Owner and Client:State of California Scope of Work:This overpass is one of a series of concrete box girder bridges for which Buckland & Taylor Ltd. provided seismic retrofit analysis and design on a rush program. The job was started in September 1995. Strategy for retrofit was agreed with Caltrans in November/December 1995. PS&E for the final design was delivered for this and 13 similar bridges in May 1996.
