VANCOUVER ISLAND PIPELINE CROSSINGS
Location:Vancouver Island, BC, Canada Description:The bridges consist of four suspension bridges and two truss bridges ranging from 49 to 117 m (161 to 384 ft.) in span and carrying the Vancouver Island Natural Gas Pipeline across deep river canyons on the East coast of Vancouver Island. The photo to the right shows the Chemainus gas pipeline suspension bridge.
